Accepting help is a difficult phase of both disability and growing old.

“Have Gumption, Will Travel” is a insightful and uplifting account of our Old Friend Robin’s trip to Alaska. She’s 76 years old and wheelchair-bound, but, as she writes: “…it took me 40 years to get past the denial syndrome of disability and expecting to be 39 again. But I realized I can still do nearly anything I want. And so can you.”
