Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly Chicago Chapter is a private charity. We receive no funds from the government or United Way. Our ability to forge lifelong connections with our Old Friends comes from the thousands of individuals and dozens of corporations and foundations who express their commitment to our mission.

Tribute Donations
You can remember someone’s birthday, anniversary, the death of a loved one, or any other special occasion you wish to commemorate by making a contribution in his or her name. We will send a note acknowledging this thoughtfulness to those whom you designate. Make a tribute donation online now.
Special Events
Working with your colleagues and community, you can organize a fundraising event such as a bowl-a-thon, a golf outing, dinner, or picnic. We welcome your ideas and new folks with a community spirit.
Food Drives
You may organize food drives individually or with a church, school, or other group. By collecting nonperishable goods for our award-winning food pantry, you supplement meals for elders on a limited budget.
Sponsorship Gifts
Your company or community group can sponsor activities and events for Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly. Your gift can underwrite a week at Rochelle, a themed luncheon, or our Book Club to name just a few examples.
In-Kind Gifts
Donations of office supplies, gift bags, and other items help us keep our overhead low. For Christmas 2007, donors helped us collect more than 1,000 special gifts that were individually delivered to our Old Friends in their homes and nursing homes. We also appreciate donation of in-kind services such as printing and transportation. Click here to download an In-Kind Donation form.

Recognizing Leadership Gifts
The Legacy Society includes individuals who have named LBFE Chicago Chapter as the beneficiary of a will, trust, life insurance policy, retirement plan, or any other gift which will take effect in the future. We recognize that these visionary donors lay the foundation for us to continue serving our Old Friends for many years to come.
The Friendship Circle is a new program being launched in 2006 to acknowledge leadership donors who contribute annual gifts of $1,000 or more. Our leadership donors will be honored at a reception in the late fall. They also receive a commemorative gift and their names will be placed on the donor wall at our Ashland Avenue facility.
To donate to the Chicago Chapter of Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly:
